The result of a collaboration of more than a decade between AR (Auto Ribeiro) in the design and transformation of ambulances and the company ACD (Afrique Conception Distribution) specialized in the sale of ambulances, and medical equipment, ARCD Africa SA is a successful model of technology and know-how transfer.
Based in the urban hub of Diamniadio, the new modern city of Dakar, ARCD is proposing a revolution in sanitary transport in Africa, by transforming vehicles adapted to the needs of the continent as well as to climatic conditions, while meeting all the requirements of European standards.
Its ambition is the extension and accessibility of ambulances, so that any sick, injured or parturient person, wherever they may be on African soil, they can benefit from optimal pre-hospital care.
Near Future
One of our biggest projects is the new factory in Senegal. We are building in Diamniadio a new assembly line that will cover the market in Western Africa.
The factory is set to open in the first quarter of 2022.
